Dedicated Micros - ASIAL, Sydney Exhibition and Conference Centre.
Budget: $35,000
Brief: 9m x 6m stand to display to show off a company who are stretching the boundaries of technology and innovation within the CCTV industry.
Exhibition Co Solution: Dedicated Micros sell predominantly CCTV equipment so their stand had to be very informative. We used several Plasma and monitors around the stand on 2 main specific areas. Both areas were connected but each had its own 'pod'. Plasmas and computers were placed around each pod with information on printed panels separating each area. We managed to include a lot of information without letting the overall look appear cluttered. Visitors were easily able to see and use the equipment on offer from individual counters.
We also included lockable cupboard areas for equipment storage and a meeting area.
A large overhead lightbox hung from the truss was used so people around the hall would be able to see the stand's position easily.

Pods – In Store Promotional Stand
Budget: $18,000
Brief: Promotional stand to tour shopping centres. Must be easy and quick to assemble and disassemble with minimum fuss. Be easily portable yet still attract attention.
Exhibition Co Solution: We used the product branding colours and logos to create a bright and vibrant stand which would attract attention in any surroundings. We re-created the pods boxes and used desks, showcases and lighting to create an inviting area.
We also provided seating areas where busy shoppers could rest. The whole stand was built to pack away easily and quickly and be re-assembled in different formats depending on the space available.

Sony Bravia Carriage – Sydney and Melbourne CBD
Budget: $75,000
Brief: To create a showcase space for Sony’s new plasma TVs. Must be able to transport from city to city.
Exhibition Co Solution: An old train carriage was sourced which we then gutted and repainted. The outside was painted in a graffiti style using Sony Bravia’s own branding and theme. This was hand painted in our workshop by local artists. Plain logo signage completed the outside of the carriage including a large logo for the roof which was likely to be seen from high rise buildings in the city. All areas of the carriage were used!
Inside was repainted and the seating adjusted to fit in with the set up of the showcase of plasmas which covered the old carriage windows. The old train signage was replaced with Sony Bravia branding and prints.
